Geocaching is a high-tech outdoor adventure using a GPS receiver to find caches (treasure). Caches are found in fabulous locations all over the globe and listed at a free, easy to use site: www.geocaching.com Enter the coordinates into your GPS and get ready to explore little known parks and great locations. The cache will contain a Log Book where you can record your find. There are often trinkets that you can trade for. Then you simply hide it again for the next seeker. Head back to the website and log that you found it ! Geocachers are careful to protect the environment when finding and re-hiding caches. Our latest coin Worldcaching "Desert" ...

This coin is the third in our series of world coins. World Caching "Desert" is inspired by many trips to Saudi Arabia by our 6foot3 beanz and his visits with the camels. Look for the little snake under the cache !

Other details : - 8+4 colours, 2D and 2D die, stamped copper soft enamel paint, in double sided PVC pouch.

Our second coin Worldcaching "Volcano" ...

This coin is the second in our series of world coins. World Caching "Volcano" is inspired by the amazing and unique habitat of the Hawaiian islands. It is the same weight and size as our first coin, Worldcaching "Ocean". To match the first coin this 45 mm diameter by 3.5 mm thick coin displays our Worldcaching logo- "Geocaching - same planet, different world" with a map of the Hawaiian Islands and glimpses of Australia, New Zealand and Asia. On the other side is a volcano scene with the Nene and Silversword and spurts of lava and a little hidden cache.

This coin was inspired by all the amazing caches that lead us to enjoy the splendor of our west coast shoreline.

This limited production coin is called "Ocean" and is the first coin in a series that Worldcaching is planning. The coin is available (at the store) in an antique silver or antique bronze finish and is trackable on geocaching.com.
