Geocaching is a high-tech outdoor adventure using a GPS receiver to find caches (treasure).

Caches are found in fabulous locations all over the globe and listed at a free, easy to use site: www.geocaching.com
Enter the coordinates into your GPS and get ready to explore little known parks and great locations.

The cache will contain a Log Book where you can record your find.   There are often trinkets that you can trade for.

Then you simply hide it again for the next seeker.  Head back to the website and log that you found it !

Geocachers are careful to protect the environment when finding and re-hiding caches.  Geocachers also practice Cache-In Trash-out (CITO) helping to leave behind only natural beauty.
